Not inspiration.
Infrastructure.
In this clip, Tony DiBenedetto shares how his programs are delivering real pathways forward: internships, job shadowing, job fairs, and scholarships.
In Tampa alone, they awarded 108 scholarships in a single month. This year, they will exceed that. Millions of dollars are committed to helping kids move beyond the poverty line.
And here is the sobering reality. The federal poverty line for a family of four is around $32,000 a year. In most cities, that does not even cover basic needs.
Tony talks about using ALICE data to measure whether families can truly meet essential living expenses, not just whether they sit above an arbitrary line.
This is not charity.
It is workforce development.
It is an economic strategy.
