I’m originally from a small town in southern Minnesota called Lyle, where I graduated high school with just 17 classmates. I went on to Saint John’s University, became a CPA, and spent about seven years in public accounting before deciding to change paths.

I’ve always loved working with entrepreneurs, and that passion led me to learn more about private investing and eventually launch Hill Capital’s first fund in 2018. At Hill Capital, we focus on helping entrepreneurs grow by addressing the capital gap that exists between banks and Shark Tank.

I now live in Prior Lake with my wife and four kids, and when I’m not working or spending time with my family, you’ll probably find me watching basketball or spending time outdoors on the golf course.
