Andy Weiner

Andy Weiner is the founder and CEO of RockStep Capital, a Houston-based real estate investment firm focused on shopping centers in secondary and tertiary U.S. markets that are essential to local economies. He holds degrees in Economics and Political Science from Stanford University and an MBA from the University of Texas, completed Harvard’s retail executive program, and began his career working in his family’s retail business.

Since founding RockStep Capital in 1997, Andy has built and acquired more than 9.7 million square feet of retail across 11 states, guided by a core principle of protecting investor capital. Over nearly three decades, RockStep has never made a capital call and has never returned an asset to a lender, navigating multiple economic cycles and retail downturns. Andy is a proud Houstonian and lifelong Astros fan, fluent in Spanish, French, and English, with additional study in several other languages. He is also a student of aviation and history, bringing a long-term, systems-oriented view to real estate and the role it plays in strengthening HomeTown America.
